Carrie is a corporate and private yoga instructor serving clients in Northern California and everywhere online. She received her 200hr Yoga Teacher Training at the Nosara Yoga Institute in Costa Rica under Don and Amba Stapleton, a 30hr Trauma-Informed Teacher Training at Firefly Yoga International in Napa, CA, a masterclass in Yoga for Social Change at Kripalu Center for yoga and Wellness in Western MA with Seane Corn, and Levels I and II Reiki certifications under Cynthia Piltch, Ph.D., LCMT, RMT in Boston, MA.

In working with a range of clients and companies including Google and dozens of studios across the United States and Nosara, Costa Rica since 2015, Carrie will meet you where you’re at in order to support your needs, share resources to navigate stress, and help optimize community and individual growth. She’ll connect and listen to your story, and design a program that works for you. All bodies and experience levels are welcome - no yoga or meditation experience is required! The practice of true inclusivity is a core value of Carrie’s mission.

Hello friends!

How’s everyone doing? For the past few years, so many of us have moved online and navigated new ways of living on the internet. In this embracing of online spaces, we’re permitted new ways to connect, work, and practice self care with fewer geographical and mobile limitations. Are you feeling like there are ways to use the internet in a healthier way, but not sure where to start? Then you’re in the right place - and here’s a little gift for you to begin with.

The video below is a class that aims to augment your experience of simply noticing your breath. Body awareness is a fantastic and effective way to calm the nervous system. No matter what you’re feeling like today, I invite you to set an intention to be a little gentler with yourself. Yoga is just listening, and there’s simply no right or wrong way to practice that.

This free, pre-recorded class is about 20 minutes long, with plenty of options for modifications. It’s a juicy, flowy vinyasa focused on breathwork, heart openers, and simple sensory awareness. Please use it how you need - skip poses that don’t feel right, stay longer in poses that do - I invite you to make this class your own. And of course, feel free to share the video with friends and family!
